Bar Kohl

Bar Kohl is a vibrant cosmopolitan establishment in the city centre. Its speciality is cocktails, and not merely a token selection of such concoctions - all of them. It must take years of intensive training for the bar staff to learn them all. On the last count, there were over 100 cocktails available, as well as several hundred vodkas. If you can’t find your favourite tipple in here, you’re not looking hard enough. Although it can get busy at peak times, Bar Kohl is generally a chilled out place in which to sip on a cocktail or two. Recently refurbished, the bar is a gleaming contemporary affair, in contrast with some of the more traditional establishments nearby. Unlike many of the city’s cocktail bars, the drinks in Kohl are reasonably priced so that a round isn't prohibitively expensive. The cocktails are prepared with fresh fruit and herbs, while a selection of shooters, decent wine and continental beers keeps everyone else happy. The flavoured vodkas are also worth sampling, with a mixer or even on their own.
